Gifted &
Twice-Exceptional (2e)
Gifted
Giftedness refers to rapid learning, strong reasoning skills, deep curiosity, and the capacity for complex or abstract thinking. Gifted individuals may demonstrate intense interests, high creativity, or advanced problem-solving abilities. At the same time, they can experience challenges such as perfectionism, heightened sensitivity, asynchronous development (where intellectual abilities outpace emotional or social development), or feeling out of sync with peers.
Therapy can help you embrace your strengths while developing strategies to manage stress, executive functioning challenges, and self-criticism. My approach is tailored to insightful and thoughtful adults seeking balance and support.
Twice-exceptional (2e)
Twice-exceptional (2e) adults are gifted individuals who also have a neurodevelopmental condition (such as ADHD or autism) or learning difference (such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, or dysgraphia). Their strengths and challenges can mask each other, making identification and support more complex.
Therapy helps you leverage your strengths while addressing challenges, fostering personal growth, self-compassion, and practical strategies for daily life.
